I have worked with students ranging from elementary school through adulthood in math and science courses. I am comfortable working with people of all ages and levels in their learning, and I'm patient and understanding. My college-level tutoring experience includes general chemistry and organic chemistry. I have done coursework and lab work in organic and analytical chemistry, microbiology, neuropathology, neurophysiology, to name a few! I like tutoring because I think everyone is capable of finding their own strengths and solving problems in their own unique way. I also hope that tutoring can help students overcome learning obstacles that would keep them from achieving their dreams-- a "weeder" chemistry class for an aspiring doctor, for example.
